Grizzly Mountain Antenna Recommendations:
The Grizzly channels are transmitted in the UHF frequency range, so your antenna must include UHF capability. Antennas should be mounted as high as possible. Take into consideration possible damage from snow.

  • If you are within a couple of miles AND have line-of-sight to the transmitter location above the Weeman Bridge:
  • If you’re farther out we recommend:
  • Farther out:
    • Channel Master ULTRAtenna model CM-4221HD (Amazon.com)
  • Farthest out:
    • Channel Master EXTREMEtenna model CM-4228HD (Amazon.com)

Do I need a signal “booster”?
We recommend an outdoor amplifier (aka booster) for most subscribers unless you are very close to a transmitter site and have an unobstructed view (line-of-sight).
