The District provides TV translators for our area residents at all our sites
TV translators are low power transmitters that rebroadcast the Spokane broadcast television channels. The transmitters then provide these distant signals from Spokane to theour population areas within our district. This includes Pateros and Brewster, Methow and lower valley, Twisp, Winthrop and down valley as well as Mazama and Edelweiss.
What about the cable from the antenna to the TV?
We recommend using RG6 coax cable for better performance.
High-Definition TV (HD or HDTV)
Some of the channels will be in high-definition at least part of the time. Whether it is HD or “normal” will depend entirely on the originating station.
