The Methow Valley Communications District is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a Special Purpose District.

About Us:

The Methow Valley Communications District is dedicated to providing reliable and efficient communication services to our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee administrative functions, including budgeting, payroll, accounts payable/ receivable, and record keeping.
  • Manage office operations, including supplies and equipment purchases.
  • Coordinate board meetings, prepare documents and write minutes.
  • Manage district communications, including website updates and fielding phone calls from the public regarding assessment fees and exemptions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.).
  • Experience with budgeting and financial software (Quickbooks) is desirable.
  • Ability to work remotely, approximately 32 hours per month, attending one board meeting on the 2nd Monday of each month, at 5:30 pm in Twisp.

Competitive salary based on qualifications, duties and approximately 32 hours monthly, range of $28 to $34 per hour.
